Sunday Scripture Choice
Psalm 147: 10, 11
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
The Horse and the legs represent the power of the military or the force of mankind or the ability to solve ones problems by brute strength or by self determination.
So basically the scripture is saying that it is not the strength of oneself that impresses God, it is the recognition of ones dependence on Him that is impressive and will gain you good graces.
