In following the advice of a respected person, Guy Kawasaki, I did not wait for a great cover to publish my book. But my brother has helped me from myself and gave me a cover that better reflects the ,ah hem, excellent writing of the book beyond the cover. Methinks I like it.

Twice the Christmas Available
It is done. My Christmas story, Twice the Christmas, started in concept two years ago, written last year, is finally finished and available on Kindle downloads.
I am very happy with the way the story unfolded and in the weird way that writing works for me, I came away from it, having learned from the characters. I hadn't really thought of Christmas quite like that. Yet, somewhere inside I must have.

About Half Way
The march towards releasing my Christmas story, Twice the Christmas, progresses a little each day. It's a fun finale and I am excited to get to the end but loving this last review.
The main character, 11 year old Riley Thomas, is such a little kid. He's an amalgamation of so many little boys that I have known thoughout my life, including my own boys. He really doesn't reflect one individual.
In writing his character, I see him every day. I hear him and I know what he thinks. He's a great kid. I hope as you read Twice the Christmas, you'll get to enjoy him as much as I do. I wonder if you'll recognize him from a little boy that you know or knew. I would love to hear about it.
Tick, tock...

Working Hard
I've been working hard the past few weeks to get an original Christmas story edited and final touches added to make it available on Kindle.
It has been a year in the making and I am really excited to finally share it. I'll keep you updated but my target is this weekend (First of December).
The working Title is "Twice the Christmas". I'll post more about the story over this next week.
Got to get back to work. Later.
